A Journey to Colour - Art by Renal Patients

August 17 2018
An exhibition of art works by renal patients is taking place from the 22nd August to the 16th September 2018 in the Ingredients restaurant, 1st Floor Lanesborough Wing. As part of the wider Art St George's programme, the exhibition will be opened on Tuesday 21st August at 5:30pm. All are welcome. Have a look around while visiting the restaurant.

Since 2016 our colleagues at St George's Charity along with the Big Lottery Fund have supported our haemodialysis patients. The 4 year project enables our patients to choose an activity they can do whilst on haemodialysis - it started in July 2016 and runs for 20 weeks a year over 4 years. To date there are patients engaging in singing, art and languages and IT. The feedback from patients has been really positive and it is great our patients are being offered this. The Big Lottery funds much of the work but St. George's Hospital Charity contributes also.

The fruition of all the art work will be displayed at an exhibition
