World Kidney Day - Thursday 14th March 2019 - Kidney Health for Everyone Everywhere

March 6 2019
World Kidney Day (WKD) is an annual global awareness and education event, held on the second Thursday in March every year. The 2019 campaign on March 14th will focus on the burden of kidney disease, disparities and access to healthcare with the theme: Kidney Health for Everyone Everywhere. The UK initiative is led by the Kidney Charities Together Group comprising the four leading UK kidney charities.

If you want to raise awareness or learn more about the sponsoring charities and organisations, you can visit https://www.worldkidneyday.co.uk/ for campaign materials and information.

As in previous years staff are helping to raise awareness and are collecting on behalf of St George's Kidney Patients Association in the hospital.
