Organ donation consultation

The government plans to change the organ donation system to an 'opt-out' system in England. They want to find out what people think of how the changes should be made. Please take this opportunity to have your say.

The Department of Health wants your views on the 'opt-out' system. These include questions on

• the pros and cons
• the impact on families,
• religious and ethnic perspectives
• automatic exemptions e.g. for children under 18
• and they want to particularly hear from those awaiting a transplant or who are already a recipient.
